"A land of the truly free, dammit! A nation of action, not words -- ruled by strength, not committee! Where the law changes to suit the individual, not the other way around! Where power and justice are back where they belong, in the hands of the people! Where every man is free- to think, to act- for himself! Fuck all these limp-dick lawyers, and these chickenshit bureaucrats! Fuck this 24/7 internet spew of trivia and celebrity bullshit! Fuck American Pride -- fuck the media -- Fuck all of it!"

We're going full Armstrong now, I guess.

Will wait for Metal Gear Excelsus to rise from Mara Lago

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
So Kelly is a Wall belieber(Head of Homeland Security folks!). Taken from his wiki:

Secretary Kelly indicated days into the administration his interest in having the U.S.–Mexico border wall completed within two years.[Politico]

Two days later, Kelly said he believed "a border wall is essential" as there were "tremendous threats" such as drugs and individuals coming into the US.[Fortune]

On May 2, Kelly stated his surprise in office holders "rejoicing in the fact that the wall will be slower to be built and, consequently, the southwest border under less control than it could be."[Politico]

In May 2017, Secretary Kelly said of terrorism, "It's everywhere. It's constant. It's nonstop. The good news for us in America is we have amazing people protecting us every day. But it can happen here almost anytime." He said that the threat from terrorism was so severe that some people would "never leave the house" if they knew the truth.[The Hill]

I'd like to think that a respected and trusted General in service to protecting the US and its citizens would have the balls and the courage to not rely on a fukken wall for our (apparently imminent) survival.

If Fox News goes with Trump, and Republicans in Congress continue to get death threats from Redcaps, he will have no bully pulpit, no reach, no allies. Prep for the blue wave, or more accurately: a low red tide.

This would completely destroy the GOP. Trump may very well be the one to "bring unity to the galaxy" or some shit like Darth Vader.

Increases the odds of split tickets in the general, I would think. Establishment GOP members just ceding over to hardcore Trumpers like that? Especially if he decides to go scorched earth on the party?

Since when has the majority of the GOP had any (a) spine or (b) shame? Self-preservation is top motivation, screwing over the poor is a close second.

See guys, this is the reason why you don't abandon a tv series just because it has some bad episodes at the start. There's always chance that a new character gets thrown in and blows shit up.

(Well, unless you're an American suffering from the effects of all this crap.)

I mean individual candidates themselves. So yeah, I think their self-preservation might motivate them not to go down without taking it fully through the general.

I know it's a pipedream, but I'm going to hope.

For those who don't know:

This would be the end of his presidency

Republicans would kick him out because they have nothng to lose, and something to gain at that point.

Do it Donny.

PHASE TWO OF THE DONALD CINEMATIC UNIVERSE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

lol

I am getting so drunk tonight.

Would they go with Trump though? They hated him during the primaries, and stuck with him only when he was the only candidate with an R next to his name left. Same with a lot of republican voters (remember all the Never Trump-ers?). If he leaves, there is no R next to his name. The Republicans who support him would split, leaving him with approval ratings in the teens.

With every outlet against him, it's be a wrap at that point.

Priebus is gonna write the must-have tell all book of the last twenty years and live out the rest of his life on the beach. He sold his soul, but will get a good price for it.

If Trump kills his administration and the GOP...

Will history hold him higher than it would Obama? Obama did good, Trump might be dumb enough to kill evil itself.

Imagine: Trump creates his own party... and on electoral maps they assign it the color orange

No deputy to become acting secretary?

I mean, did they even ever get one approved? Trump admin has been awful about filling positions, I'd be more shocked if there was someone clearly in the wings to step in.

...

Yes. Elaine Duke.

Nevermind

WH Official: Anthony Scaramucci still reports directly to POTUS, not new COS Kelly

Neverending landfill fire at this point.

So can Trump actually destroy the Republicans? Or can the Republicans destroy Trump?
Republicans would destroy Trump. He'd damage them greatly, but they'd survive. Even if folks out there don't like the establishment GOP. they'll go for the Republican than a Democrat.

All the advocacy for violence against the press on Twitter is chilling. Our executive branch is in the hands of a goddamn death cult.

So is there any good option if Trump moves Sessions to DHS and appoints someone to fire Mueller? Does the new appointee need approval?

I'm sure Trump knows about if he tried going independent from them, he will be impeached?

Don't think they would take kindly to that at all.
