Already asked this in another Destiny thread and I'm sure it's been asked a lot here but as someone who played this heavily for about 3-4 months (Did Crota, got to Lighthouse but didn't do any grinding to 320 or any Rise of Iron stuff) , is there any benefit to carrying my character over to D2?

Just clink the banner for the clan you want to join and click "request to join" I would post in that thread which clan you choose, so the clan leader can identify you and approve..

You carry your account over.

Your character per se does not matter. You´ll get your emblems even if you make a new one.

As a final farewell to D1, I was thinking of doing one last raid. Either Kings or WotM Hard Mode. Though I really want to do Kings, a bunch of rusty players doing the jumping seems fun.

We're thinking 9 AM EST on Saturday. Should be a good time for EU players to. It'd be 3 pm for Germany.

I don't want to be "that guy" that screws it up many of times for the rest of ya. I'm also not really worried about the trophy. If you need a sixth, hit me up.

Most of the benefits are tied to your account rather than your character, but Luke Smith said that those of us that carry our characters over will enter the world differently. We don't know what this yet, so it's hard to say, but it seems like that might be the only benefit.

You're gonna enter the world a little differently than people who didn't play D1...

Did some cursory googling around and couldn't find an answer so figured I'd drop in here and ask: Will the Digital Deluxe Edition extras be available to purchase separately? I'd like to get them eventually but find 129.99$ a bit hard to take at the moment but would be willing to pick the pack up later if that is to be an option. Looking at the Xbox store it lists the content as "Coming Soon" but I figure that just means it isn't available to pre-load at the moment.

You don't save anything with digital codes on Amazon right? I'd cancel and get it on PSN if you really want to play it right when it releases.
