I am not entirely convinced by Death Stranding yet but its reason to celebrate when an author is able to free himself of the reins of a corporation that was treating him like a subhuman, regardless of how late he was running on the job.
Not only that, he was able to get back into the biz and is already releasing his new brainchild.
May from now on you live and die entirely on your own merits and shortcomings, Kojima.
You deserve it.

btw his old staff doesnt seem to care about being part of Kojima's team and watch the guy take the whole responsability of the project, another proof that this Kojima's ego debate is just another stupid controversy created by some haters that cant stand the evident fact that PlayStation has the best exclusives of the market.

The engine was already built, which helps tremendously. Sure, they probably made tweaks to it, but that's usually the hardest part of game design.

I think it’s pretty astounding that three years or so after getting fired, losing access to his technology, everything he’d built, and even some of his team, he’s been able to turn around this quickly, rebuild it all, and ship a game.
That’s due to a lot of people’s hard work, but that’s quite a testament to Kojima’s talent as leader. Less than this has buried, or seriously impacted many creatives.

I had no idea Kojima Productions was so Asian lol. I should have known considering their previous games, but for some reason I thought the move to Europe would make them 50% non-Asian. It's refreshing to see.

Good to see and I was honestly worried that it might get delayed if Kojima started taking the criticism he's been getting to heart.
I'm going into this game like I would a David Lynch movie. It might not be a great game in the traditional sense but it will damn sure push my mind out of its comfort zone and will likely be an experience entirely unique to itself.
