Exactly arguably better games tht win goty status and are polished asf like Horizon Zero Dawn, tlou, god of war, etc.

Out of context or not the more 8-10 hour games that are of great to excellent quality the better. I don't have as much time as I used to for games so short and high quality are right up my alley. There is still room for the 100-hour epic but those are once or twice a generation for me and I 99% of the time don't finish them.

What the edited vid doesnt show is that he was talking about 2 of the smaller studios they bought, and how they dont have the resources for huge AAA games, but Microsoft are going to provide the resources to those smaller studios to get their games as close to AAA level as possible.

You just mentioned eeeeh basically 6 franchises, cause forza horizon is entirely different than the main forza games. Plus we already have hellblade 2 and everwild announced. I know, not everything is a cinematic 3rd person game with loooooong cutscenes but why wouldn’t we enjoy these MS games that you mention ? They seem to cover a lot of genres.

One thing to consider if whether we are talking about SP or MP (or co-op) games - the latter doesn't require 100MLN+ AAA budget, while can provide hundreds of hours of gameplay. So maybe MS will divide their titles that way, instead of making SP-only titles, or trying to pack both modes.

I haven't had time for 90h games in a long time. And at similar quality, I'd rather have multiple 10-20h games than one 90h.
But then I used to enjoy mostly arcade games, which technically are 1h games (or infinite hours games, depending on your point of view)

It would be interesting to see if the games are sold at the same price though.
