6600xt
- around 3070 rtx
- 299
- 8gb

6700xt
- sits between 3070 and 3080
- 16gb
- 399

6800xt

- 2x 5700xt performance
- beats 3080
- lower watt usage
- 499
- 16gb

6900xt

- 10% faster then 3080.
- 16gb-24gb of memory
- beats 3080 in all resolutions competes with 3090 beats in lower resolutions
- lower wattage
- 699

( RR)Radeon raytracing, radeons console like raytracing where raytracing gets done in a simpler fashion with a bit reduced quality but on par with 3000 series performance wise.
( DLSS alternative ) but in early stages and gets implemented later on.

I think you're not too far off. 3 cards should be announced on Wednesday.

6800 ~$625, 6800xt ~$700, 6900xt ~$800 all 16Gb cards

6800xt will be close to a 3080, will beat it in some games. 6800 ~10%-12% less performance, 6900xt ~10%-12% more performance.

RT performance should be about 15% better than a 2080ti.

That looks like an RTS game?

Command & Conquer 2021 4K 120fps with RT on 6800XT!?

Guys, now that 4k is the base line, you've switched to 120fps as a target?
That requires literally four times firepower needed to do 30fps.

RDNA 2 obviously designed to clock high

ASUS is the last manufacturer I'd buy an AMD GPU from. They have terrifying track record of cheapo slapping some cooler meant for NV card onto AMD ref cards.

really hope AMD pull this off. Nvidia dropped the ball big time. I have an RTX 2080 and was gonna get a 3000 series card but the 3080 is a joke with only 10GB VRAM and the 3090 is not worth the cost. both use way too much power.

give me a card that sips power, has 16GB VRAM, and matches or beats the 3080. oh and actually let me buy it...that's all you gotta do AMD.

Do we know the date for 3rd party benchmarks ? Im not that interested in AMD's cherry picked lab results done with their unreleased cpu's in order to show an unrealistic result of the cards

This is the real question. You can bet on the benchmarks being shown by AMD being great, but we need real life validation.

Says the man who unironically posts Nvidia marketing info from their slides/presentations/promotional videos as fact? C'mon man!

AMD/Nvidia/Sony/MS/Intel etc... will always try to show their product in the best light and sometimes have questionable benchmarks or questionably attained figures. Having said that, AMD's numbers tend to typically be closer to reality than what we typically see from Nvidia, what they present at their showcase will likely be within the real ballpark, at least if recent history is anything to go by.

Snarky jab aside, I think it is always a good idea to wait for real benchmarks from reputable 3rd parties. I'm looking forward to seeing Hardware Unboxed and Gamer's Nexus benchmarks, I think they both have good methodology and are quite trustworthy.

Hopefully tech jesus gets to review them before we can order.

Nvidia posted some of the most popular games today with percentages and videos and all that they shown was true. There was no monkey bussines there. Of course they picked the games that had the biggest uplift but that doesnt make it untrue. AMD on the other hand has some unreleased cpu's that nobody else has and which they claim are faster than any cpu currently available. The results they're gonna show at their event are not gonna be the results you will get even if using a 10900k and the fastest ram.

You must be joking linking that retard, right ? What exactly are you dismissing in my post ? AMD showed cpu's that they claim are faster than anything currently available. If they show gaming results with that while nvidia only has results with current cpu's, thats not exactly painting an accurate picture now, does it ?
Name calling is easy. Prove him wrong. I know you won't be able to.

oh damn, my bad, i though its mores law is dead channel :D But this guy is also doing some mental gimnastics the likes you rarely see. I remember his video where he was doing misleading percentages and pulling benchmarks from 5 different sites to show nvidia in the worse possible light as to inflate his points. He was doing this steven seagal brain moves trying to say this objective, measurable performance the 3080 has is in fact not that great because ... steven seagal moves. Its horse shit.

I don't think they'll be that cheap honestly, but if they are... nVidia will be murdered.

Retard? Yeah since he speaks the truth you don't want to hear about. Everything he says in that video is 100% true, this is an horrible launch, you've been lied to, they manipulated numbers, failed to give the 3rd parties their drivers on time, went on a cheaper route with the 8nm to save money.

Only a blind fanboy will deny this which you are, sorry

I gotta say, I'm somewhat troubled by the fact that the announcement is roughly 24h away and we have nothing but rumors. Not even pics of the shroud, cooler etc. leaked from production.
Either AMD is really really good at secrecy or production is not heavily ramped up which would point to a December launch at the earliest.

Here's to wishful hoping that AMD does deliver, though I'm still pessimistic about it. It's up to AMD to surprise me positively!

Now that we know a 3070 is pretty much exactly on par with a 2080ti .. there a pretty vast space between a 3070 and a 3080 that can be filled. even if one AMD card competes withthe 3080 a lesser expensive card thats in the middle of that range would be great for AMD and consumers.

What are you talking about?

We have seen:
1. A render a few weeks back of the card.
2. Leaked screenshots of the physical card, both Red Gaming Tech and JayzTwoCents posted these.
3. We saw Lisa Su hold up the physical card on stage at the Ryzen reveal event at the end when doing the RX6000 tease.

AMD do seem to be great at fending off leaks this time though.

As for production? It is anyone's guess. I would imagine there will be significantly more stock than the 3000 series launched with but there may still end up being shortages if demand is incredibly high and lots of people have money burning a hole in their pockets due to lockdowns.

and the 3090

While the leaked benchmark is impressive, I feel it is important to temper expectations a little.

1. The card used in the benchmark was as far as I'm aware an OC AIB model, so the reference will be a little slower.
2. This is a synthetic benchmark, while it gives us a rough ballpark of performance lets wait for real game/benchmark performance.
3. Overall I think the 6800XT should compete very well with the 3080 at 4K, with it really being a game by game win for each card but them ending up with roughly the same performance give or take a few % or fps.
4. 6800XT will probably perform slightly better than 3080 at 1440p
5. 6800XT will not blow the 3080 out of the water or compete with the 3090 (outside of maybe some edge case in one title)

I'm still very much on the hype train and I do think AMD have a real winner on their hands with RDNA2, but lets not go crazy here.

I agree with your points. If AMD can match ampere's performance while keeping TDP at an acceptable level, something nvidia failed at, than they've already won imo. The real ace up the sleeve will be the prices for the new cards. That's where AMD can really hurt Nvidia.

Not much more. I still haven’t forgiven him for being so dead wrong on Ryzen 3 (Zen2)
Just because a batter striked out in an important game at a key moment, doesn't mean that the batter can't get hits or even home runs.

Oh... Football. Ok. Translation of above:
Just because a footballer/soccer player misses a penalty in an important game at a key moment, doesn't mean that this player never scores goals.

Guys. Please stop. They're a corporation. They love money, likey any other. There's no chance they come near those prices. They literally can't afford it, even with a more efficient process/node vs nvidia. They have far less money to throw around than nvidia, and nvidia is the same vs intel. I don't think y'all understand the relative size and profitablity of these companies. Stock prices are great but theyre only one component of the overall story.

The other part to this is that, from what I understand, they could be making a lot more money if they just manufactured more CPUs instead of these GPUs.

If Nvidia really hasn't been hoarding 1080s to unleash on the world tomorrow like the green apologists have been saying, I think AMD is just going to capitalize off the demand built up by the competition and sell the 3080 competitor at the same price.

Should hear something tomorrow on it on certain channels.

Word is what we will see wont be a 80cu part. It will be a cut down 80cu like 72cu or something along those lines. They have a 80cu part currently for enterprise that may or maynot be running on the newest HBM memory.

I don't know if they they are 100% thinking of using it also for gaming. Unless it's different arc? That I don't know. If it is RDNA 2 then they are going to have that be more of a professional card. But it all honestly depends on what Happens in December.

Nvidia is suppose to make some kind of a tease for a super variant. ANd soon.

I read the 6800 XTX is the 80cu part, and the 6800 XT is 72cu
