Agree, but how are they not going to sell it if people is willing to preorder even before knowing how the game runs on their systems? It was to be expected but they shouldn't have sold it if it wasn't working
in this thread people with 7 year old hardware moan about having 7 year old hardware.
pc gamers are used to this, upgrade or play at shit fps, no reason for consoles to be immune especially since they are gloififed pcs nowadays, do you not remember GTA3 on ps2? it maxed at 25fps and dropped to 15fps.
there is zero reason to preorder a game before seeing it running on your particular hardware, reap what you sow.
Regardless, if you’re buying any PS4/XO game you shouldn’t have to find out it drops to sub HD resolutions and 10 frames per second before buying it, you should automatically assume that is not the case.in this thread people with 7 year old hardware moan about having 7 year old hardware.

Yeah, they shouldn't have released what is obviously a next-gen game on last gen systems. I returned my copy this week and will just wait for them to patch the PS5 version and play it in 6 months or so when I get a PS5. Kind of disappointed the CDPR did this.It was to be expected but they shouldn't have sold it if it wasn't working
You have to applaud their boldness. They pulled the biggest bait and switch scam of the software industry masterfully. Keep the real performance hidden for the majority of potential buyers and base reviews and promo videos on high end PCs. Plaster a 92 metacritic score, with the help of the naive reviews media, and boast about 8 million presale to convince a few more uninformed millions in the next 48h.
These guys are good, real good. But they are good at stealing, not programming.
Doesn't this make a mockery of the console certification process? Clearly both parties waved it through so as to not miss out on any dough.
What you all whining about, it Still runs better than my RTX 2080 at 4K Ultra with RT (3-6fps in the most demanding areas)

I kinda sorry for people who bought it on last gen... But I also kinda happy that it's a proper PC centric game xD
Then are you happy these horrible ports took all the attention away from how the PC version is also a complete bug-filled mess, including consistent hard crashes?
I wonder how did Sony and MS allowed the game to ship in that state on their platforms? Don't they have quality assurance anymore?
anymore? they dont block games for performance/bugs, their QA revolves around security, api stuff etc afaik
according to the videos the PS4 holds up OK, 25+ most of the times and even holds the 30fps quite often. That 15fps street DF found seems to be more of a worst case scenario. With some optimizations CDPR should be able to get that game to rather stable 30fps. Ok, the game looks extremely blurry and most details are missing (too low res) but it should be quite playable. Luckily I got the PS5...Xbox One makes PS4 version look great lol even at 30fps. Microsoft doesn't believe in generations, luckily CDRED does.
You want to run 2020 technical masterpiece then get proper hardware to run on it or enjoy slideshow fps and stop crying.
I remember Witcher 3 having framerate issue. CDPR patched it. They'll patch Cyberpunk but nobody should expect something magical to happen when it comes to the OG Xbox One. Come one guys...
True. Life of Black Tiger is an example of how much they care about quality.
Love how you single out the X1. Like the PS4, Pro and 1X are on a different boat.
QA is just about that "bureacratic" bullshit nowadays, they don't even play the game, they just analyze package if it has all it takes to release on platform and also if it does not contain something which could damage (from code) system...so API calss and system calls. If everything is alright than they release even buggiest shit.I wonder how did Sony and MS allowed the game to ship in that state on their platforms? Don't they have quality assurance anymore?
There is nothing wrong with that, PC guys get shit ports all the time but I think it's shitty of them to have released this game on console in this state. They should of just released PC version and waited for console versions to be acceptable.I kinda sorry for people who bought it on last gen... But I also kinda happy that it's a proper PC centric game xD
Watch the video. The Xbox One is on a league of its own in terms of bad performance with this game.Is this the console warrior response to this
Cyberpunk 2077 currently looks really bad on PS5 (not a shitpost).
* Just started the game - the resolution is so low that you hardly can see any details on face in character creation. It looks like something reconstructed to 1080p (confirmed by DF that the temporal AA is messed up creating really strong ghosting effects, look edit 2). PS5 runs limited to PS4...www.neogaf.com
It looks garbage on base last gen from all gathered examples. Even PS5 and XSX have their issues.
