I’ve been all over Mexico, family had land there in multiple areas (and I’ve visited on my own a dozen times all across the country) that description is fairly accurate actually. There’s beauty in the people and the culture and the landscape but Mexico is a DEEPLY troubled country, make no mistake about it. Lol

I can see them making an adapter/breakout cable or something to bring Oculus/Index/WMR to Xbox at some point, it would really surprise me if they developed a completely in-house headset. After Kinect they appear committed to sticking to the basics with the hardware. Unless, of course, the headset was just a WMR device with Xbox branding.

This seems fairly realistic so I'd like it to happen, but I'd also like them to embrace wireless VR in some function too. Series having Wifi 5 limits them somewhere there compared to PS5 (which has Wifi 6) when it comes to bandwidth, but that's what compression is for and some wireless headsets like the Rift 2 (I think) have a lot of localized processing handled in the headset itself, alleviating that situation some.

Pair that with a console port of Half-Life Alyx (maybe even a timed console port exclusive) and that'd get the ball rolling. Still though without a dedicated headset or funding put into 1P content targeting VR that would keep them behind Sony on that front, but at least they would be supporting VR in an official capacity on console.

I wouldn't mind a Snatcher AAA 3P action/adventure/cyberpunk remake tbh; there's a ton of lore Kojima could expand on in terms of additional content and it'll be the closest to a modern AAA Blade Runner we'd get this gen.

That'd be insanely hype if they do it and maybe he could do a Policenauts AAA remake somewhere down the line.

Can't just fob it off and say "oh pandemic" because Playstation has been in the same pandemic and managed it. Ratchet & Clank will be out soon and Horizon FW is probably coming late this year/early next year (if they're at the point that they can show a decent chunk of gameplay) (Most of Playstation's big studios are in America or other counties where the pandemic has hit hard, so let's not be lazy and say "oh but Japanese company!")

Avowed alone (for me) is plenty enough.

See I don't think it's that big of a deal as it once was in the 360 / ps3 days honestly Kojima has never been exclusive to Sony has he preferred Sony over ms? Sure. I think alot of people forget that mgs 2 substance launched on the og Xbox first and Kojimas early mgs games where on msx /PC hell mgs1 was on PC mgs 2 was on PC. What the nerds on the internet don't get is if Sony wanted Kojima Sony could have Kojima.

All I want these days are more Japanese games to stop being exclusively missing from Xbox.
All I expect these days are delays, disappointment, and Major Nelson bragging up new limited edition controllers or console bundles I have no need for.

Why is everyone thinking Kojima game will be an exclusive. He is just using the platform to promote his new game. Plenty of third party games and their sequels were first shown on MS stage but it was a multiplatform title. For example, need for speed.
