I've never known Sony(of any region) to drop a bombshell in the middle of the afternoon/evening US time.
I grow very weary of these "insiders" hyping up things that amount to not a whole lot in the end.
I mean, what could be so megaton that it drops at such a weird time? Is it even a megaton to most of us?
Only thing I could think of would be an acquisition of Square, Capcom, or whatnot, but those aren't really leaked.
Maybe it's they've acquired the Konami IPs?

So, the sources I have (yes, I have some connections in the gaming world) are saying it's about From and something about Capcom and possibly Konami.
The current confidence level is hovering around 20-30%, so find a GIANT grain of salt and don't wager any money you can't afford to lose.

Again, I have some friends in the gaming industry. These aren't SVPs or anything, so your mileage may vary.
I don't have a blog or podcast, so I'm not really trying to stake my reputation here, either. I am relaying what I have heard secondhand, and the value of that information is not what I'd call solid gold.

Guess I will find out in the morning, but all the companies you said have close ties with Sony, so it makes sense something could be happening with them, especially as Sony have money in their pocket to spend before april.
