This is good.
But does that mean those games will be played in SD with no enhancements?
like they were on PS3?
Not really clear what on PS3 past purchases can be played at all outside of the sub service. Since those are streaming only I think? I guess whatever is downloadable might work, but yeah - no word on enhancements.

Their old stuff yes. Like think original Rayman, old rainbow six, that shit is still fun to dive into. Imagine PS2 versions of Prince of persia? Warrior within is a great game that I played multiple times. It's their new shit that I dont care for. I'm only interested in classic stuff.

Huge downgrade of the ps3 titles from what is on PSNow currently if that is all the titles. Also the PSX and PS2 stuff is laughable.

So I assume these are the definite launch games for the service with more to come before then.

Surprisingly good, a lot better than I expected NGL.

Can I play all of these with Extra how much was that again?

Probably the best deal there, dont care about classic games or streaming ps3 games

Ffs guys didn't they say there would be roughly 700 games on the service? Be patient before jumping the gun just cause they released a small amount at the moment

Ok but those aren’t part of this service. It’s just their PS4 era games, the same open world stuff people here used to shit on and are now cheering for.

Nicely done. And it will get better, and it actually feels like a complementary service that will provide us with games we don't really want to get at launch.

I think this is the most sustainable way to deliver a broad array of experiences.

Eh it's OK. I mean the value for people switching to the higher tier is dependant on whether they've already played those games already or not. For me, the games that interest me from that list are purchases I've already made over the last 2 years, so the thought of paying extra per month to play games I didn't buy on purpose seems backwards.

To each their own I guess.

Right before the PSX, PS3 and PSP list

Right before the PS3 list
Are you expecting massive changes at launch? That would be pretty optimistic. I am not criticizing the service just pointing out that as a PSnow subscriber since launch it’s a huge downgrade for PS3 and for their talk of PSP and PS1 support what they have presented is terrible.

Meh. Only positive thing out of all this, is the possiblity to download already purchased PS classics and that new ones will be offered as standalone.

Hope they fail miserably with this subscriptions bullshit.
Yes, the service that will be available to 50M people already subscribing to it will fail

I'm not satisfied until I see alll the entiers of each series in the list. Being able to play through all games from each series on a single plattform would be a dreamt come true for me.

That being said, the list is solid I guess. Still cautions until we know more about the emulation. If not done well these game will look like ass on my OLED.

The PS2 games are really just the remasters already available? God that's bad. The PS1/PSP selection is also very barebones, who would've thought that the leaked games are all there was to the classics. At least the PS4/5 lineup is good.

I can’t believe they’re using the PS4 versions of Jak 1-3. Those versions are fucking horrendous, ESPECIALLY Jak 2. Streaming the PS3 collection would’ve been better.

I own most of those games. I’m really hoping to get Metal Gear 4, Warhawk, Motorstorm 1 some how down the line. It’s really hard to play these games now.

I hope everyone buys into this. For $120 I get to play tons of games. Not really seeing a downside. Nobody is stopp you from doing whatever you're doing today.

That's a stretch considering Game Pass offers brand new releases as part of their offering whereas Sony's premium service doesnt, outside of time limited trials.

Well, to be fair Microsoft offers their first party output at launch, which aren't usually consider to be the top tier of the gaming industry, unlike Sony's. So yes, some might consider getting Sony games a year after release of more value than getting Microsoft's games day and date.

I'm surprised Miles Morales is on there honestly. They don't even really do sales for PS5 first party games that much. I guess we'll see how long until something like Horizon 2 is on there, or Demon's Souls, or Ratchet.

That lineup is great but is anyone else worried about the $300M pledged over 4 years in the earnings call? Sounds to me like Sony are gonna coast on subs like MS.
