The thing I have trouble wrapping my head around is what business is any of this Sony's? Why are they surprised the games wouldn't be on their platform after a competitor has purchased the IP for $60 billion? Microsoft's offer of 3 years is very generous, as was honoring the deals Sony had in place for Deathloop and GhostWire: Tokyo, let alone keeping Minecraft on Playstation platforms.
Commenting, even lamenting the deal is all well and good, but it feels like there's been a strange sense of entitlement coming from Jim Ryan ever since the deal was announced. IP like Diablo or Crash are never brought up, clearly not having CoD is going to considerably eat into Playstation's profitability.
