Forza - ray tracking ON THE TRACK. So just puddles?!
And they said "build from the ground up for new generation"... yeah ground up for series s

OMG what have Microsoft done to Tango Gameworks.... Evil Within 2 was amazing, Ghostwire looks goo too (in backlog for me). And this is crap. Microsoft effect.
XSS has no dev kit, you develop for X and optimize later for S.

BTW, it's not looking too different than other racing games to me, maybe I just don't have an eye for those games...

And they should continue to do what made them famous but bigger and better.
This is clearly a downsizing in team and budget.
Not really.
This is a good thing for the devs.
Make big game, while making a side project as hobby fun game.

It takes the pressure from them.

Looks nice, but should this release be dead for the game? Usually, games need to build hype, but there is nothing of that here. I hope for the best for the developers.

So far personally
MC Legends looks good but it's probably not for me
FM looks great but no date was a small bummer
HI-FI Rush also looks fun and interesting, will be shit at it but going to definitely give it a go.
ESO; sorry MMO's ain't for me.

I just expected bigger budget game from Tango. They deserved a big game

This is as inane as saying Obsidian isn’t working on Avowed and The Outer Worlds 2 because they also worked on Grounded and Pentiment.

Now this is just embarrassing. ‘On track’ means in races. Not just photomode. They even showed RT on vehicles.

Wish they had more direct gameplay for Forza, also the fact it still doesn't have a firm date suggests it's slipping into H2 2023.

However, I REALLY like what they showed of Hi-Fi Rush. Great mix of Jet Set Radio/Sunset Overdrive/Devil May Cry type of stuff and even a bit of what Scalebound would've had (if it weren't cancelled). Really cool that they held it as a surprise to release today; it may not be a huge game or AAA-scale but it looks like it'll be a pretty fun AA-style game and, if it does well, hopefully they expand on the IP.

THAT'S the kind of variety I'd like to see more of from Xbox's 1P honestly, I'd even say it makes Sony look a bit dumb for retiring IP like Gravity Rush (at least for the while). I like seeing that kind of creativity from platform holders that isn't necessarily tied to AAA-style games; any kind of that type of variety helps bolster the appeal of the platform as a whole IMO. The Minecraft game looks decent, tho I don't care for that IP.

So far I'd give the show an 8/10, mostly thanks to Hi-Fi Rush. Again, really cool surprise there, I'm kinda jelly I can't play it right now (no Series system, could borrow a family member's though if I want). Could also try it on PC, actually. Might go ahead and do that over the weekend (my laptop should be able to handle it I imagine).
