You’re right. Saying that the CMA will capitulate once M$ threaten to withhold ABK content doesn’t make you a conspiracy peddler, it makes you brain dead.
Let MS do that. It helps CMA win their tribunal case easily with that action.

There is a saying that goes

Oh look, another account from 2018 with 30 comments, no profile picture and only comes out to promote M$ conspiracy theories.

Good pet, I hope you can exchange the money for good boy points.
what’s amazing is they didn’t even bother to get that one out of neo status, usually they‘ve posted just enough + been around enough before being ‘activated’ that they’re not neo members still

what's strange is that this kind of posts are all over reee and seems that everyone believes their theories
if you question or are against any conspiracy you get banned :messenger_tears_of_joy:
and there some other that like the ovo guy and the one with the dog pic that always bring back a narrative when it's forgotten after some pages

Don't know why you believe the point of all this is to come to a "positive outcome" on the behalf of a $2 trillion corporation. When it comes to a massive corporation grabbing even more power then I fundamentally disagree with this notion that regulatory bodies should be working to make that happen. The point of all this is to prevent lessening of competition. Both the EC and the CMA agree that there is a distinct possibility of that happening. And yes, every merger that is examined is based on "theory alone". That is why they call it "theory of harm". By their very essence, these regulatory bodies are attempting to predict the future in every single merger and acquisition that they review. And remember, it was Microsoft that threw out the possibility of a "structural remedy" that the CMA was wiling to consider. So if we are going to say CMA is being "bullish" then so is Microsoft.

And let's be clear, "everyone else in the world" are going to go along with this because they know they are not going to impact the deal one way or another so why piss off a company that brings in revenue to their country? UK, US, EC and China are the lynchpins here and factually, the only ones in the merger agreement that matter. So hiding behind CADE, New Zealand, etc. really isn't much of a position at all.

And folks keep making a big deal about the CMA's mistake as if that was their damning act of incompetence. That is absurd. The "provisional findings" are called that for a reason. Before the CMA's final ruling but after they threw out the console aspect of the findings, there was nothing but praise from those in favor of the acquisition. Even that jackass Florian Mueller was singing their praises for having the integrity to fix their mistake and make a major change to their findings. So no.....holding up that mistake/correction now, after the fact, also falls flat.

No, it wasn't a CMA employee who said that on Twitter. It was an EC employee.

Fries in a sandwich are too risky. Like they need to be hot and crispy to be good. Given that fries cool down and get soggy quickly it turns a good sandwich into trash in minutes.

Where are you from, Feynoob? This looks good. I know most people don't like liver but Iove it. Is that chicken, pork or beef liver?

And what's this dish called?
I am from Somalia.
This liver is a beef. Sometimes we eat lamb liver or camel liver. Those are usually expensive.

Damn I really love liver. You got a name for the dish? I enjoy cooking and would like to read up on recipes and even attempt to cook it.

My bad I thought it was a CMA employee lmao ... That's kind of hilarious that they passed it then after he made this post early on.

To be fair i kind of both agree and disagree with you in various views you stated. I don't think that a trillion dollar company should be protected at all but at the same time I don't feel like people should just be quick to try and crap on them just because they're a large corporation. And I feel like that's what happened with the FTC and CMA. Also I wouldn't discount the regulatory body decisions from other countries just because they're not as big as the UK US China etc. That's like saying yeah we are an active part of this political world and can make heavy weighing decisions affecting the outcome of global affairs but we're not as big as the other guys so we don't really matter at the end of the day so screw it just do whatever you want here's the rubber stamp. Sorry I just don't believe that.

I think the FTC is the one really crapping on big corporations. I've said time and time again that I think the FTC is nothing but a speedbump in this thing and CMA is the only real key. When I read Lina Khan saying that their goal isn't necessarily to win these cases but to push the envelope on antitrust law then I became highly dismissive of FTC's efforts. Seems to me she is making enough noise to get in front of cameras, but that's about it. That's just my opinion, but I will not be shocked if the admin law judge promptly rules against her this fall.

I get what you are saying about the "other countries", but at the same time, FTC, CMA, EC, etc. should NOT be in the position of simply going along with the rest of the world. Each regulatory body should be held to the standards of their respective country or countries. And acquisitions this big need to beheld to a damn high standard, imo, and that's exactly what I think is happening.

Carbs on Carbs are a little odd but I'd never say no to food. I'd give that chip sandwich a try.

I just learnt a few years back that the Japanese actually have noodles inside buns as well. Yakisoba pan. I was playing 13 sentinels when I came across that. (anyone else played 13 sentinels?)

I just want to segue a little and comment - the playstation fans here seem to be able to have fun and talk about football, games, food and joke around. On the other hand..... Well... Nevermind.

FTC is an easy dunk for me, considering how shit our system is.
CMA is the real block road, as the stock still hasn't changed at all.

If MS can pass that hurdle, the deal is basically done.

It all comes down in this July, whether both party wants to extend the deal.

I made a modified version of the chip butty once.

Basically it's a French fry sandwich with grilled provolone and gravy. Sounds crazy but it's worth it.

The problem is that the FTC doesn't have enough power to stop them
That's why lina is pushing for more power to be able to do something

Man when I'm retired, I wanna travel to every country and try out their foods. That'll be a dream.

I love watching Chef's Table, Street Food and Gordon Ramsey Uncharted.
