They ruined the Saints Row series with their woke BS. No surprise this is happening.
Pouring one out for FreeSpace 3.
Nah, the guy is just a retard like everyone who unironically uses Twitter. This shill has no self-awareness
It’s what happens when you listen to the very vocal extreme minority. You lose your way and end up making a game not for your audience, but rather for the people who actually hated your game or product. Several brands have now figured that out. Don’t give into hatred, violence or threats from these vocal people. That doesn’t mean be evil and bigots or racist either mind you, it just means remember who your audience is and making things for them, not the people who hate them/you.Fans were telling them after the first reveal that they didn't want this game, they could have u-turned, they could have tweaked the characters a bit and dropped the social justice crew vibe; but nope, they doubled down. Makes you wonder who these companies think they are making these games for, it's clear after all these commercial failures that there isn't some unvocal majority who love this shit.
Creative Assembly please take note.
SR 2 and SR 3 were it's best entries. SR 4 was fun but too easy.Spoilers, Saints Row was never a good game. It was bad before and after it went woke. Game was always a poor gta clone. Still feel bad people will lose their jobs tho.
This is also what I am thinking. No way they wouldn't try to shop Volition around first. But maybe Embracer wanted too much money for them?I wonder if Embracer tried to sell Volition, but nobody bit. I would almost bet they did.
Agents of Mayhem didn't help eitherThat last saints row literally killed the studio.
You know what, thats a good realm for ALL these devs that push agendas and bs. Go to mobile gaming, make ALL the stupid games you like there. The real Volition that created the games everyone loved went away over a decade ago.
This dude was part of the “Volition” that released crap.
I don’t want to see anyone out of work, so I do hope he finds work making mobile games.
Subscription services.I still look at that new Saints Row and wonder “Who is this for?”
Game journos don't buy games. That's the problem.Crazy because they made exactly the Saints Row sequel that game journos wanted
Can't say it better.Always a shame to see people lose their jobs, will never celebrate that.
But on the other hand, should have listened to the fans when they rightly told you that your new idea for Saints Row was garbage, instead of burying your heads in the sand and telling us we were wrong.
