Sony putting their games on GOG is maybe the most unexpected thing about their PC ports. Good shit.
Wait, what? ()
No sony games on PC have had DRM
Their a delivery methodSteam and Epic stores are DRM
That kind of DRM is considered like no DRM for yearsSteam and Epic stores are DRM

If a game doesn't have DRM you can pull the folder and back it up and play without steam
Every game published on those platforms has DRM injected into the game files. Uninstall steam and try running a steam game, the exe will hook into steam_api64.dll to launch and verify with steam Epic does the same with different libraries.

PC users get PlayStation games DRM-free, but PlayStation users get PlayStation games locked to an account that isn’t even theirs.
Makes all the sense in the world.
Don't see any Sony titles in that list

As if those GOG DRM-free files aren’t going straight to torrent sites. PC, the cradle of piracy. It does. You think they’re going to let console users make copies of games and then resell the discs? Even more devastating would be people buying used copies, making duplicates and refunding them.

You have a library to download stuff from just like steam. Main differences are:Never purchased anything from GoG. How does that work, does this require you to keep a backup copy of the files at all times? Or do you still have a library that you can re-download things from?
