Yup. He barely made it without breaking down on stage. Tretton probably already waited for him behind the stage with a huge smile and a hug. You have to just imagine turning the camera behind his back and see the crowd going nuts over every word he says. After years of hard work, dozens of sleepless nights and the constant fear your company might be in trouble to just get such overwhelming approval must be insane.The tears in his eyes (and Tretton's earlier) really got to me. Touching, honestly.
Reminds you that these executives and faces of companies are human beings. You don't get to a place like that in a company without having tremendous pride in your work. The zealous validation of their work must have been felt like an absolute validation of self.
Probably one of the happiest moments in his entire life. And well deserved.
