As charming and attractive as she is, Jennifer Lawrence winning was definitely a ringer. She should not have won given the performances she was up against. It was probably intentional to cement her jump start into a serious acting career. We'll see if she makes good use of it or not.

Beasts of the Southern Wild not getting a nomination for Original Score was am actual surprise to me. The music really made the movie.
