Man, what are the chances they'll release an album with Axl doing the vocals?

Slim, I'd imagine. I think the plan is for one more album and tour, and the singer should be on board for both. That probably rules out Brian Johnson. Axl has said he'd be willing to stick around, but he just might not be compatible.

Meanwhile, both Rolling Stone and The Guardian weighed in with positive reviews.

The Guardian suggests Axl's more comfortable with Bon Scott's material, and I think that's pretty astute. It also notes Scott's material is more menacing, whereas Johnson doing Scott was more exuberant and perhaps even excessive.

Axl does seem to be in a way better place, and that's great, but let's be real. He only sounds great right now because his broken leg means he can't dance around until he's out of breath.

He sounded horrible during the GNR shows where he had the same broken leg, so I don't know if he's lip syncing or something.
