They're underdiscussed, because places like DF don't get corporate handout PR sheets describing them, and they don't feel like doing due diligence in learning about them or asking developers of said games about it.

Same with the I/O setup... but you just wait until direct storage becomes mainstream on the PC, then it will be all the rage. Just as I said it would and was excited for after learning about the PS5's I/O. "PC is gonna benefit big time in the not so distant future, CAN'T WAIT!"

As to Direct Storage, will they give free motherboards with DMAC/Decompressor ships on SOC together with the software magic?
