Alexander The Great - The Videogame
By Andrew 'Talon' Wilson @ 05:46 AM :: General Gaming :: 5 Comments
During April, we posted word that SCi Entertainment seemed to be looking into creating a game based on the classic film, Jason And The Argonauts. While unconfirmed at the time, the news came via the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which showed trademarks made to that effect. This morning it seems the USPTO's Trademark Electronic Search System has a listing showing that Jason And The Argonauts wasn't the only movie license SCi's been looking into recently. While it isn’t clear which of the three versions (1956 film, the 1968 TV show, or the upcoming movie) recently SCi filed for the name, "Alexander The Great". Filed on June 11th, 2004, the description reads as follows.
“Computer games; electronic games; video games; video game machines adapted for use with television receivers only, video game machines adapted for use with television receivers only; games adapted for use with television receivers and computers; apparatus for games adapted for use with television receivers and computers; coin operated games.”
Alexander The Great followed the life of the Macedonian king of the same name. Stay with us for more news throughout the day.
