I told people GaaS isn't over. PC isn't over. Remakes and remasters aren't over.
They're letting go over 900 people. Assume an average salary of 100K a year and that is 90 million dollars per year. Assume an average salary of 150k and that is 135 million. That's just payroll not including benefits.
Over the span of 5 years, you're looking at at least half a billion dollars. This alone isn't really enough to shift margins, but it's probably also only the start of Totoki's cutting.
My hope is that they don't try to cut their way to good margins as it is extremely difficult to do and they instead focus on growth opportunities.
