The biggest issue anyone is going to run up against (and apparently the reason porn is getting banned from OnlyFans) is that payment processors aren't playing ball because they don't want the legal problems associated with sex trafficking's and / or having their brand associated with pornography. It's hard to collect money from people willing to pay if you can't accept Visa or Mastercard, and that includes third party processors like Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal.
You would have to build a platform that's SO successful that it'd literally have people figuring out Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to use it. That's a tall order.

Personally, I don't see the point of OF subscriptions when there's a wonderful world of internet porn out there that you don't have to pay a single cent for, but this is one of the dumbest business decisions I can think of.

It was hilarious to think that people buy Playboy primarily to read articles. Yep, same deal here, they're gonna close down after a few months at best. Onlyfans is associated with nsfw stuff and they'd have to do a complete and expensive rebranding to change that. Don't see that happening.

I don't think that's how it works...AFAIK, most of the people there already do the "Softcore" stuff in other places since it's allowed almost everywhere, be it Twitch, twitter or Instagram, that's how they get the audience.

That's the real headline here. Why do these payment providers care about any of this stuff? Like, no shit underage porn or forced sex work is horrible, but why is this suddenly of interest to payment providers? Shouldn't it be the government (police?) who keeps an eye out for that stuff so no illegal activities happen?
Kinda scary that payment providers can now just decide to cut off an entire industry whenever they feel like it. I wonder what's behind this really, because it's losing them money for sure. I also doubt they're putting in as much work when it comes to child labor or arms trading in foreign countries.
