Actor and comedian Chris D’Elia has been accused of “grooming” and attempting to solicit nude photographs from underage girls.

D’Elia, who has hosted the Congratulations podcast since 2017, has starred in Netflix comedy specials and the sitcoms Whitney and Undateable. In 2019, he portrayed the role of paedophile stand-up comedian Henderson in the Netflix thriller series You.

On Twitter, a woman named Simone Rossi tweeted a screenshot of her alleged interactions with D'Elia, and accused him of grooming her.

“Imagine being 16 and being groomed by a stand-up comedian twice ur age and the only reason you never met up and never got physically m*lested was because u had just gotten a boyfriend ur own age," she wrote.

As Rossi’s tweet went viral, a number of other women came forward with their own allegations about D’Elia.

“He’s trash,” wrote one woman. “He put me on the list at a venue to see him perform and casually said I could then meet him in his car behind the building and suck his d***. I made up an excuse and never showed up.”

Another woman wrote: “F*** you @chrisdelia. You solicited nudes from minors while u were in Vancouver and tried to f*** my friend when we were 16, and when i called u out on twitter you told her you’d ruin her life if i didn’t delete it. absolute pedophile scumbag [sic].”

The Twitter account SheRatesDogs, which shares anonymous stories submitted by women about their bad experiences with men, then tweeted that they had received numerous stories about D’Elia over the years.

The account began sharing screenshots, with anonymous women alleging that D’Elia had sexually harassed or assaulted them. Others alleged that D’Elia had solicited nude images from them, before threatening to make them public.

Comedian Emma Arnold tweeted that she had been warned about D’Elia’s behaviour and told to steer clear of him.

“When I was a brand new comic, one of Delia’s best friends warned me to never send Chris nudes bc he made them into memes and showed to other male comics at shows,” Arnold wrote.

“Looks like some of those memes were probably of underage girls. No wonder I don’t miss comedy yet.”

Others shared a clip from D’Elia’s podcast, in which he ranted about how old 14-year-old girls look today.

“You ever see a f***ing 14-year-old?” D’Elia asked. “She looks 30! I’ve never seen – there’s no such thing as a 14-year-old girl anymore. They go from, like, six to 25.”

D’Elia has yet to comment on the allegations.

Yeah this is one of the worst kept secrets on the internet. Bryan Callen is probably (hopefully) next. Anyone that hasn't divorced themselves from the idea that famous stand up comics can be good guy, I've got bad news for ya.

This guy always annoys the shit out me when he's on Rogan's show. He's one of those guys that's probably slightly smarter than the average person but thinks he actually has an IQ of 160.

The story he told about the eyes wide shut fuck party always stuck out to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some weirder shit going on in his personal life.

As for Delia I'm not all that surprised. I always thought the guy was pretty funny but did have that scummy bro factor - you know the guys that never get passed being 18?

The comedy scene is chock-full of this type of behaviour and worse towards women. Especially in clubs. A lot of women play along with it cause they want to be part of the cool kids club / succeed in the game.

King Billy Bald Cunt has a pretty clean life. Chappelle too.

I have a strange feeling Jeselnik's a saint in reality too as an offset to the bleakest of bleak humor his brand is.

I had never heard of Bobby Lee until I opened this thread. How on earth is he able to get away with behaving like that?
Yeah he gets away with a lot of goofy shit. I'm thinking it's because the guy is the least intimidating man on the face of the planet so being threatened by him is quite literally impossible.

He's an interesting dude to say the least. Pretty funny too.

Bobby Lee makes me laugh, but he's a walking talking cloud of #metoo

I saw Bobby Lee at a club and he called up a person at the end of his act (it was a dude) and he stripped down to a thong and basically gave the dude a lapdance. He even did a handstand twerk with his legs on the guys shoulders....like, there is no way he didnt get a whiff of his balls/ass crack area. This was also at the end of a set where he showed the audience his pubes at least a half dozen times.

It was basically assault, but the guy didnt attempt to leave at all and was laughing along with the rest of us.

I'll give you Billy Two Shoes. That's probably the best example of one who might be alright. Chappelle looks, sounds and thinks so much different than he use to I'm not convinced he isn't a Gucci Mane tier clone.

I wouldn't call it goofy. Creepy would be too mild a word. I thought it was disgusting. I need to read up on who he is, but I am genuinely surprised he was able to get away with all of that. It was uncomfortable to watch. No doubt his non-threatening appearance has an influence.

Wait so she was going to do it but then got a boyfriend? That's what stopped her? wtf

Like I was going to suck 30 year old dick but then I ran into 16 year old dick along the way

A 16 year old cant decide if she wants to have sex with a 30 year old? That’s grooming? Now if they had sex that’s on the comedian but don’t give me this nonsense about being groomed.
