If we have already joined the main destinygaf clan should we leave the clan and then join our time zone clan or just stay in the main clan?

No. You will join a region and stay in the primary group.

Yes. You will still need to be in the primary DestinyGAF group. These are all sub-clans.

So, in the OP, its says to set my Bungie name as my GAF name.
