Yeah, Min.us seems to be down right now so it should be back to normal once it's all 100% again.

EDIT: Looks they are all slowly popping back up so enjoy! I'll start putting up some new entries when it's all fixed though.

I got the

"worst" ending first where humanity becomes monsters. By comparison, the other ending is pretty damn happy. Of course the best ending is still the one that's basically a game over.

Anyway, I might start chaos;head too if everyone else is even if I already saw the anime. Would like to see some more reactions to Saya no Uta though.

I thought the

scene was pretty good.

Anyways, I'm glad Chaos;Head doesn't have h-scenes, so I can play it while my parents are awake. Although I'm not sure if the gore is any better. Will start tomorrow.

You'll pretty much be limited to games that run in Nscripter for that since they have an executable for OS X. Otherwise you'll have to use parallels or Bootcamp for everything else.

If there's one thing that the internet has taught me, it's that people are into some fucked up shit. And I'm sure in the grand scale of things, Saya falls on the tamer end of the spectrum seeing how there's fuckin' weirdos out there jerkin' it to guro and shit. In the case of Saya, it had to be there since the story depended on that aspect. In any other case though, I personally don't get it, just watch porn if you're feeling frisky. It's got way more frames of animation haha

It is a genuinely fantastic game from top to bottom, but how much are they asking for it in your neck of the woods?

All it took was the suggestion that it was Lovecraftian, even. It's odd how Saya is a better bait-and-trap than something more 'accesible' like Fate or Tsukihime.

And every time someone mentions 999 I feel guilty for not even unwrapping it. I need to get to it. Playing Chaos;head is awfully tempting though.

Fate/stay night was my first VN, and i couldn't even finish it. (due to how long it is). Plus the writing quality of it didn't seem to be that great anyway, to much exposition that seemed to drag for hours. I did like the characters and found some of the plot to be fairly interesting though. 999 + Saya no uta seemed to have gotten me interested in the genre compared to F/S/N & Umineko.

I blame that on a limp first arc. Never understood the love for Saber and quite possibly the douchiest version of the douchiest main lead ever.

Seriously, 999 is a game for babies compared to Saya no Uta. Saya no Uta has stuff that is like 100x worse than anything in 999.

That's a shame. The themes fit so well with these. Chaos; Head looks promising, though. Maybe I'll look into it.

I would say no, but it is better than a lot of 60 dollar games. Doesn't mean much though since a lot are crap. I'd say wait if you can.
