Trying to grab Odinsphere, Handsome Collection and Telltale Collection (Australia) - but keeping the following message:

"Your purchase may not be complete. Check your transaction history in your account settings"

WTF? Anyone else getting this?

Maybe wait a few hours and try again? PS Store tends to get wonky on update day.

Thanks. Just looking at that image I already own most and I'm not sure there's two games there I actually want.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed as well. Seems like I already own most of the games I really care about.

Oh man, so many games I want... KoFXIV, Witness, Odin Sphere, Firewatch, MUA... not sure which to go for.
Really want to play KoFXIV but it will probably drop further right?

So...Bound is good is it?

It's a beautiful and imaginative game with very little depth. It's mainly a visual and sensory experience, without much by way of compelling gameplay - I enjoyed it, although I'm fully aware of its failings, but if you like 'experience' games or those which strive to be different then you should enjoy it. Maybe have a look over the OT?

I only really want Bound from the buy 2 get 50% off deal ...

...I might just get flOw as it's the cheapest other game. Bound by itself is £15.99..but Bound and flOw together works out at only £9.98 with the 50% off.

Might get Odin Sphere. Been looking for something to get into on my Vita.

Can anyone tell me what it's similar to? 2D Action RPG has me thinking of Dragon's Crown, any comparison there?

Soma isn't for me if I'm not a horror game guy, right?

I'd still grab it if i were you. There are horror elements but there far exceeded by the exploration/story stuff.

In fact you can make it through the game whilst avoiding most encounters if your quick/clever about it.

It'd be a crying shame to miss out on one of the best games of last year because you're not too keen on the genre. I honestly cannot recommend the game highly enough.

Shame you missed out on it last month when it was only £6.

I'm thinking the missus might like it, as she has liked games like Flower, Jorney and Unfinished Swan. I saw there is pregnant woman in the game. Does she get in a harms way? I don't want buy it for her to play it if there is content like that.

It's more bleak and horrifying than scary. If you're even a little bit a sci-fi guy, I say go for it.

edit. yeah what WITHE said

Yeah very likely, but keep in mind it has some good Single player content and if you have others to play with, its current price will more than make up for it.

yeah it usually does that with Paypal payment atleast. Check your email and your library on the console, should have gone through normally.

Blog post seems really lazy, some Vita titles in the PS3 section and vice versa

Anything here on Vita that could be considered a great deal?

I'm not that guy either but the horror aspects aren't as pronounced. The game can be intense in a couple of sections but mostly it's a really great sci-fi story. Don't let the horror part keep your from getting this awesome game!

Hnnnghh dats some pretty good prices for jrpgs and vita games...
can't afford to buy anything due to releases coming out from here until december.. hnngh

anyone know if EU will be getting a cashback promo after spending $100(equiv) like NA is currently?

I do like those kind of games every now and then. hmmm.. Actually you probably can answer this (Bound spoilers):

I'm thinking the missus might like it, as she has liked games like Flower, Jorney and Unfinished Swan. I saw there is pregnant woman in the game. Does she get in a harms way? I don't want buy it for her to play it if there is content like that.

No harm (or danger of any sort) comes to the preganant woman. Those parts of the game are essentially an elaborate level select screen and narrative bookends to the more abstract parts of the story.

--

I'm tempted by Firewatch, but I've bought too much stuff in the past few sales. I must resist.

No, she doesn't get in harm's way. Her sections are brief and only really provide a framework for the bulk of the game. Think of it like the spine of a book.

Also, I really should finish Soma. I liked what I played, but damnit it was too fucking tense for me and I wimped out!

And you too...and oh. It seems I need to start another harassment campaign involving you and SOMA!

I believe it's my duty to remind everyone that Shadow of the Beast is beyond awesome and should be bought in large quantities to make a sequel viable. My game of the year easily.

I really want to play The Witness, but at the same time I'm not willing to pay that much for a digital-only title. £18 is just too high an asking price for something I won't be able to resell if I dislike.

Took Bound and Enter the Gungeon, been wanting to try both for a while now!

Any thoughts on the PS4 version of FF14? I've played the PC version for a little while and rather like it, but I'd like to try it on PS4 for a change. How does it compare? How is remote play with it? Can I play the characters I made on PC? Will the 30 days start when I buy the game, or when I activate/link my square-enix account (and so I can buy the game now, and start the 30 days later)?

Thanks for any answers for the above!

I already own FFXIV and played it for the free 30 day period. If I buy Haevensward now, does it come with any additional game time or is it just the expansion?

Gen X

Trust no one. Eat steaks.
I really want to try The Witness but I just know one day it will be free with PS+. Patience is the key.

I've got the mods in agreement that they will ban you if you cyber-bully me into playing scary games again!

Sitting at work, can someone tell me how much I'd have to pay for sniper elite 3?

£10 for standard, £13 for Ultimate Edition. I'm thinking about getting it myself.

I'm also tempted by Game of Thrones, as my wife and I binged on the whole thing a few months ago so it's all still fairly fresh in my mind. Is it worth it?
