That was a great trailer.

Are we assuming it plays like wildlands? Do we have confirmation? I hope so.

Also, do we know more about that Punisher tie in?

What are the chances that we'll get both this and Watch_Dogs 3 this year? I need my WD3 :(

Ubisoft confirmed no Assassins Creed this year and they're taking a year to make an even better game. Hence, Watch Dogs 3 will be the fill in for the year alongside Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

You think so? That would make me incredibly happy. But with WD2, didn't they reveal it before E3 first and had a more in depth gameplay reveal at their E3 show? Of course that doesn't mean they can't do things differently this time around.

Hmmm I see that Starlink and ACO both released near the end of the year 2018. So I guess it's possible. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Ah great another online only title by Ubisoft. Im so hyped to rent this game till servers shutdown and I can use the disc as a toaster!
You might want to do some research before you post....

LevelCap says it plays like an evolution of wildlands with better animation, systems, and weapon handling. They have added survival mechanics and better ai as well. It has been stated you no longer have teammates in single player so it should be harder.

There is no Punisher tie in. John Berenthal plays as the antagonist who is a former ghost.

Why is this game always online?

That it requires an always online connectivity to play single player?
Where does it say that?

edit: #Breakpoint will require an active internet connection like The Division and Rainbow Six Siege.

NVMD.

Seems a strange choice, not that it really affects me, but seems like a dumb decision.

I was annoyed by the lack o AI team mates. I was expecting improved AI and commands. In wildlands they are only good for sync shots and to break my immersion.
Oh well, maybe it's for the better.

Good for Ubisoft.

We get to play new Ghost Recon this year!! Wildlands showed potential, and I consider Ghost Recon a top of the line 3rd person shooter.

Oh, I really, really enjoyed having teammates and setting up stealth kills, boo.

it looks so good from gameplay trailer i cant believe all those wounded animations sliding and sliping and camera walks swings and turns very cool presentation at least. wonder what engine this on , looks very good visualy . i want to play this.
so its same engine as wildlands used anvilnext 2.0 , but for me looks much better then in wildlands, or just maybe more cinematis what was shown in trailer at least.

Well they can't even release a Assassins Creed this year as they no longer are using the same amount of teams....its not a thing where they are just choosing to, they basically can't as in the game isn't finished and the team that would have even made THIS YEARS AC is making Watch Dogs 3.

I mean I want a new Watch Dogs. But, I do think I want a new Splinter Cell more.

I actually want a Watch Dogs 3 more now that I hear its in UK this time around. Save Splinter Cell for next gen if you ask me. We waited for it, we can wait longer for a cool next gen one.

I thought it was interesting for the gameplay reveal that they went with sunshower weather to best showcase the rain and lighting effects. God rays actually looked like they belonged in the scene and the mud camo looks cool.

so Punisher went to Wildlands mission and there something went wrong and now hes bad guy in Breakpoint ??
At the end of the missions he's telling you that he doesn't trust Bowman and the CIA and he hopes that his family isn't in danger because of them. I guess something bad happens between the 2 games and he turns evil.

How similar is this to say The Division 2 which I am really enjoying on PC? Same engine at least?

no Division 1 ,2 uses Snowdrop engine and its made by Massive Ent.
Breakpoint uses AnvilNext 2.0 same as in latest AC games and Wildlands , and its made by Ubisoft Paris
dont see how its similar to Division more to Wildlands just now more survival more cinematic i guess, more lonewolf as before.

i have wildlands and played it and it has nothing like they shown on gameplay mission trailer, but you can allways find similarities if you want to sure, but this is more like survival lone wolf alone in jungle type game and with new animations wounded system and cameras do job that it looks more cinematic. wildlands looks simple and plays simple as 4 player coop game which you can play alone sure.
no problem with online here, really what year you must be living if you ask question about online, what type of rock you must be under , yes online game where yo ucan play solo as division need online connection.

very good at last play alone maybe just with some drone buddy as healer or something. but im all for survival without anyones help as that will bring different tactics and gameplay . and get muddy as Arnold

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
Only seen the reveal and gameplay walkthrough and holyshit did that gameplay look like Ubi Bullshot™ stuff.
It was as bad as Watch Dogs reveal trailer.

WOW! Really?! I didn't think so at all.

Graphically no, I ain't saying the graphics are questionable but there is something about it, the camera angles and just the way it plays out that don't look authentic and reminds me of Ubi Bullshit Trailers.
If it does that's fantastic, but I'm wary
