Not just the creep spread but Ret does excellent overlord scouting. It's like every 2 minutes he runs an overlord over the base to spot tech switches

Also, Ret basically never fails to get overlord speed. Super important IMO and I love seeing him use it so well.

Guys, I'm pretty new to this stuff. I am just wondering, is there a "Live" package that can be purchased for a season or is it only 1 day passes?

The Koreans don't really see the Tastosis cast at all, so maybe the Korean commentators also interview separately?

Yes. Great scouting, great creep spread, great macro play.
Good upgrades as well. When he hit his BL timings he had +2 air armor to mess with stalkers.

Welcome :)

You are able to view the live stream for free, check hazaros post! but if you want the HQ stream (may not work depending on where you live) and access to the VODs, check out http://www.gomtv.net/2010gslopens3/premiumzone/Service.php , It's EviLore approved!

dont buy the day pass, it's pointless, it's just a higher quality stream that day but doesn't include vods

A season pass is $20 a season for high quality stream AND VODs (video on demand) so you can rewatch the games or catch ones you missed live in 720p. The price drops to $15 a season for repeat buyers as a customer loyalty thing.

The interviews have always just been on the English stream. They show commercials during that time for the Koreans.

I actually just saw that (I wasn't sure if that was condoned around here). Kind of pissed I just missed Ret's game.. :/

Also everyone, thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure if the pass included streams or just VOD.

I purchased the season ticket for s2, it was easily worth it alone for vod watching to me. but I kind of bought it for the high quality stream and that failed me hard. I didn't get to watch a single match on the hq stream because it would just stutter and die a lot and a lot of the time it wouldn't even connect. it probably works better from elsewhere though as I am in norway, but there you go.

Oh, GOM also has a free stream. You need to register, then install their GOMPlayer, and then you can watch "SQ Live" (always full) or "SQ Live Test" (always seems to be open). Or just watch the restreams.

the main reason to buy a pass is for the HD VODs. the standard quality stream is always free so the pass is most valuable if you can't watch the free live games.

only the Ro64 has games at 11PM EST/8PM PST. normally games are 5AM EST/2AM PST (since that's prime time in Korea).

The restreams are kosher, since it's a free stream anyways. Sometimes, the official stream chugs a big (mostly in the more popular matches), so restreams work better. VOD reposts however, aren't. We want to support Gom TV and SC2 pro gaming as much as possible.

Well I just got home.

I missed both of Ret's games, were they good?

JSL is playing great.

I'm just curious, but do you get everything from the VODs? I watch these streams not just for the games, but for the Tastetosis pregame/postgame banter as well. I like watching it as though it were live.

Ya you get everything. Game one will have like 10-20 mins of pregame talk. And the 1 or so minutes of post game is still there
