I always buy these little cars, tune the snots out of them, put the prettiest and pinkest anime or Hello Kitty livery on them and then go and do donuts and drift around meet up rooms.

I like to recreate stuff like this, but often I'm finding people already have better versions out already... before I even got my AE86 someone had perfectly recreated the black limited. Anything I did to it would be heresy, it was perfect.

The DF Gran Turismo retrospective has made me come to appreciate this series even more than I already did. It's amazing how good the PS2-era games look even to this day, I think it's fair to say Polyphony have the best sense of art direction in the simulator racing market (tho looking back now, Enthusia had really good art direction too. Konami should've continued that series).

Can't wait to eventually pick this up to play...I just came in here to talk about GT real quick tbh 😂

I forgot all about Enthusia.

Yeah in that new DF GT retro ep I forgot how good that and Square's racer looked for the time. Love how the Nurburgring looks in Enthusia; very moody, like right as a storm system is moving through the area. Combined with the tenseness of the course itself, gives it an almost Souls-like presence somehow (and this was way before Souls).

Buying it now, thought about the Deluxe Edition then I found a fucking Toyota! I'm a Nissan guy, and that's enough insult so I'll settle for the standard edition.

I love transmission noise. My Nissan Patrol has a huge manual transmission with only 5-speed, so the 1st and 2nd and slightly the 3rd have a little bit of a sequential trans whine that is satisfying.

This would bother me except i am actually always online so it makes no difference to me whatsoever. I think my internet has been down twice in the 8 years ive been with them and even then it was for a few hours, which I could surely find something else to do. Ppl that get wound up by this need a better ISP really, it's 2022 not 1998.

And back to Tokyo with the Tomahawk we go. Took me 5 minutes to find a new exploit that allows for even faster farming than before.

But servers don't last for decades.

With all due respect, those gamers don't have a life if they take games too seriously. Who the fuck wanna play GT7 decades from now except the extreme minority that is less than 0.01% of gamers?

Also these are games, we play them in free time, do our real life tasks later. Consume the game, enjoy it, then move on. That's why I giveaway all my games + older console before going to the next one.

They fix the bmw m6 physics with the new update. Now getting gold in the nurburgring is easier than ever. It used to drive like a boat now behaves like a proper race car, and the gold time still the same as before
Ah ok, that's what I thought you meant. Going to dive into that tonight. I assume you mean for the circuit challenge?
