I'm on the 10th level (Gravemind), and for some reason, the checkpoint system stopped working. I don't know if it was meant to be that way, to make the game more "challenging" (if that's the case, F U Bungie), but basically from the start of the level to near the end, I haven't been through a single checkpoint, which is a far cry from the many checkpoints each previous level had. It's really pissing me off, because I've had to start from my previous save so many goddamned times, and the Brutes are always the ones sending me to death. That, or the few falls I take when I jump without looking.
So is this a checkpoint glitch? I've almost already decided I wasn't gonna touch the game anymore anyways, but I'm hoping I'm not the only one here...
