Does anybody know how I can add an animated gif into an image?

For example I have a bunch of 2d animated sprites from SF, KoF, MK etc. and I wanna put one of those on top of another static image. Like a gif of Guile doing his taunt or a sonic boom and a pic of him from SF Alpha 3 as the background to that gif.

I'm not sure if you understand what I mean but any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, you would have to have a picture of the 'static' images for every frame of the animated gif. There's probably an easier way of doing it though.

If you have photoshop with image ready you can use that.

You open the Gif and just add a new layer behind it with the background you want to use.

I could do it later if you have all the source images you want and the animations are a file I can work with (.gif)
