You shouldn't pre-order any game really. Wait for fan reviews to come out if you are that worried though. Professional reviews can almost all be ignored.

Unless it's Assassins's Creed.....I've enjoyed every one and the dlc's are always substantial.....I've no issues getting gold editions of these at launch.
