Iranian state media reported that the drone was an RQ-4 Global Hawk, but a similar-looking drone, the MQ-4C Triton, also exists, according to the AP.


The U.S. officials interviewed did not identify the type of drone or say why it was in the area, the AP reported.

I don’t know if a wartime president will win in this case. Starting more wars in the Middle East seems pointless. If Trump starts a war and the Dems run someone I don’t like but isn’t a nutcase I would consider voting for them.

I was thinking that the drones are neither mass produced or have a century of R&D behind them like the automobile. Whether or not that justifies ballooning the price to that point is beyond me.
