I just tried to install the game today and let me tell you, no dice. After building a new computer, I never touched the game until today. Now I find that it won't run. Is there a way to get it working?

Yes there is. Install Virtual PC and download the virtual image for Windows 95 somewhere. Or you just have to boot into a pre-2000 version of Windows and run it there.

Try using a DOS emulator.

It will actually run in XP if you install VDMSound, but you'll probably run into the dreaded invisible quest item/monster bug. Check the bethsoft forums at elderscrolls.com (the "older games" board).
