I don't get the context of showing off her butt
GAF as a whole is so uninterested in what's being shown at TGS that only a few things have gotten threads. So there is no roundup of TGS news?
Ironically, Capcom has managed to get the most positive TGS buzz here out of any third party company.GAF as a whole is so uninterested in what's being shown at TGS that only a few things have gotten threads.

Glad to see Shingeki 2 coming out on Switch, I know some were doubting KT's commitment to the Switch because it hadn't been announced yet.
In the end this is the most important thing, they're probably betting all in this game (and it shows), so yeah I want them to succeed because, ultimately, I want to keep playingHopefully it pays off for Capcom.

Koei Tecmo going all in.
Ugh. Some terrible last pages. MHW is a good project so far. The problem with Capcom is the mismanagement of the company as a whole and the terrible PR disaster they have carved themselves in terms of Switch support.
How is the company mismanaged? Its clear that their output is much lower than last gen and of lower quality too over all. SFV launch was a disaster, MvCI has mediocre first impressions, but we will see how it does in the next month. I loved Re7, one of my favorite games this gen, but represented a decline for the franchise in terms of sales.
So, we got to World. The game is looking good, but I think it is a terrible mistake to not have a simultaneous PC launch, and to me that version looks like a 6+ months delay. PC audience is more receptive of new experiences and the ground where GaaS and Twitch sharing really takes off. And its both, a premium platform and a budget one. If Capcom is indeed all in with MHW, this is a huge mistake.
Then, there's the Switch. Come on guys, even the most staunch Capcom fan should admit that they have absolutely screwed the pooch there. Terrible initial support and even worse PR. The games are coming? Why hasn't Capcom said anything? Where's the promotion for the late port of late remasters? Why hasn't Capcom committed to support the platform? Why isn't a Zelda clone not coming to the platform that sold the best a very late port of Ocean Horn at $15? Who thought that a risk free retro nes roms collection wasn't suitable for a platform that is selling a prime place for retro 2D collections? This is more than MH, guys.

I still find it insanely baffling that there are people on this forum that seem to think that Capcom's support has been great...

I'd like to play their games too but the sad part is that it seems they don't want me to do so (I only have a Switch so... Too bad)
If you think Capcom is the worst Japanese developer then I actually envy your lack of knowledge and awareness when it comes to the Japanese video game industry. It must be really nice to live in your bubble. Got any room?
With posts like that it's hard to take this thread seriously tbh.
Don't worry the "games" are in "development".
We know all of this, MHW is just really the cherry on top of a shit sundae, in that its a actual delicious cherry but also where in the hell is a switch version, when bethesda is putting wolfentstein 2 on the thing

For someone who didn't discover Capcom with Monster Hunter and follows them since the beginning this company, alongside Konami, is a joke nowdays as a developer.
That 2GB of RAM is their greatest contribution to the system so far! Can't wait to see how they will use these 2 extra gb of RAM they asked for. It will be glorious for gaist crusher deluxe and nazo waku yakata HD.
They don't have unlimited resources ya know. It's not like they have two teams who's job are to work on this franchise and this franchise only.
At least some good came from TGS2017.
Good point. It's also unprecedented for third parties seeing Switch success and commissioning outside teams to port games over

I wish more joke developers could release quality titles like RE7 one year and then MH World the next.
Now theres also a model just nearly almost showing her tits but obviously stopping short, guys what is THIS

MHX is already localized, resources isn't the problem for MHXX. Capcom is so badly mismanaged that can't afford anything go wrong with sales of World.

I hope the Monster Hunter franchise will die soon so this thread can be good again
A company of Capcom's former caliber should be capable of releasing more than one game of that 'quality' per year.
Then the thread would just be about the death of Capcom.I hope the Monster Hunter franchise will die soon so this thread can be good again
