This look really nice. It's just lacking in lighting/shadowing, but for current gen it's really impressive.

due out next spring (i believe the month mentioned during E3 was April, but i could be wrong) probably published by EA since they own Criterion now, and for PS2 and Xbox. I remember hearing something about some timed exclusivity for the PS2 version, but that may no longer be the case.

Just like Burnout 3 / Revenge the PS2 is the lead system and the Xbox version will be nearly identical.

Some rumours that the UK release will be February.

You can have played all those PC titles in full PC glory (like me) and still be pumped for something different - like finally a good PS2 shooter. This game sounds and looks great for a console title, I can't wait to try its physics (best ever on a console game?).

This is really impressive looking. Knowing Criterion, the framerate should be rock solid as well (unlike "15-fps"zone).

Looking fantastic, but as others have said, we've seen enough screenshots at this point. We first heard about Black two E3s ago; it's time to see it in motion.

I wonder if the final build will have blood effects. It would be strange to have all this focus on environmental damage, but none on the actual enemies.

looks technically great for a PS2 game, but also extremely uninspirering. Infact the screens look like that big empty Ninja Gaiden town, level 3.

I'm sure this will be a fantastic looking game.....but the textures do look awful. But that doesnt really mean shit to me. How will Black's GAMEPLAY set it apart from other FPS's. I used to love the genre but its in need of some serious innovation. I hope this wont be too repetitive.

in the video i saw behind closed doors it rans fine,but it was a lot of time,they have only implemented the damage engine on a room full with stuff,but its was excellent.i dont know if the game will be repetitive or not.im just talking on the pleasure of destruction this game will bring to us,

but alas i find cold winter a excellent shooter and the cricits panned it just my two cents

i have the same feeling with halo2 ( and alot of fps ) about that repetitive scheme.i miss more of the city levels on halo 2 they were excellent

Ok, I also like Cold Winter, if Black is similar to it I'll be happy as it's a very enjoyable FPS game. Surely EA are finally going to release a video of it at the Leipzig Games Convention?

Thats my point exactly. The genre is in need of some innovation.....something to push it forward. I will be very dissapointed if all the next gen FPS games are just shinier versions of their predecessors.
