Not showing the "budget" PS3 super-slim was a mistake, though. Even the European PS Blog mentioned it passively- I'm not sure why they'd admit it's coming soon but not want to talk it up.

I think it exists for the sole purpose of saying that they have a cheap model for sale, and apparently only in Europe. 12GB is useless and it looks like it uses a proprietary hard drive add-on...so it's basically not worth mentioning at all except as a bullet point.

So once Sony announces the successor to Vita I will re-purchase the Vita. Brilliant piece of strategy, Sony!

yeah.. about that. At this point I'd be pretty surprised if there is a successor to the vita.
