GTSport does not require Internet to play the singleplayer. You are talking crap.
You sure? Try save your progress without an internet connection. If you managed to do, please show me how.
Your online connection for singleplayer has nothing to do with the quality of your singleplayer gameplay. There wont be lag or you getting kicekd out of a race all of a sudden. Always online is there for verifying your game is legit and accessing online items like multiplayer, shop for liveries etc.No one can argue especially on this forum that this is an issue as you already are 24/7 connected. And for those saying you want to "own" the game....it sucks but how long are you going to be beating a dead horse? For the last 8-10 years games and their servers are being pulled.
Look at NFS...they recently completely removed 4 titles from the late 2000s. Unless you have a physical copy or download a torrent, you can never play the game anymore. What about Driveclub, you can only find a physical copy but the servers are gone which made up the majority of the game and all the DLC is wiped out which made the game better than it was. Forza Motorsport 7 is a 4 year old game and its getting removed forever from the shops. Unless you find a physical copy you can never buy this game online again and thats only after 4 years. I dont like it either but, this is the way its going to be, you dont own shit anymore. We arent in the SNES/megadrive era anymore.
I can't care less if it will affect my single player sections with lag or not. What I care is that some idiot is trying to force me to be online to play.
That alone is problem enough. If that is not a problem why the heck do a lot of people complained about the Xbox idea of online check with the console and their games?
Every time anyone try to force me to do a thing, I'm out. Especially if I have to pay for that.
Yeah, my devices stays connected 24/7. But if I what to disconnect all my devices I can and I can continue to use it. The same goes for my games.
If they don't give me options, I won't give them my money. I
About Driveclub, anyone can buy a physical copy of the game and play it. Yeah, you don't have access to multiplayer and DLCs, but here is a full game inside the disc that you can play and have fun without bein forced to go online.
The game being axed from the online store isn't a problem. The problem is that we are giving control of our games to others. I will not support that. Unless I get it for free. I will never put my money in a game that I have to wish that the developer or the publisher keeps it online so I can play.
