Nah, for real this is obviously the last release of this game.I agree, and they will keep on doing this when the PlayStation 12 comes out with the next version of Grand Theft Auto.
Thats like judging the PS4/X1 on GTA5 (Gen 8 version) or bioshock infinite remastered. Pretty big difference when you judge these systems with games made specifically for them, like RDR2, gears 5, TLOU2 etcI'm constantly surprised at how underpowered and dated the PS5 and XSX already feel with so many compromises.
yeah, the RT Performance will be max res 1800p with RT reflections that are pixelated/grainy messes on shiny surfaces due to shitty checkerboarding just so we can go "look! you see that light down there?! i can see it on the hood of this car without it being in the screen space! awesome! ray tracing!" it's so bad.Be interesting to see how steady the Performance RT mode holds.
Feel like either RT will be minimal or VRR will be essential to make it payable.
GTA has hit the Pokémon level. They don't need to expend much effort to sell ridiculous numbers off the name alone. Just look at the GTA trilogy collectionCan't even hit 60fps in 4k on a fucking 8 year old game, get the fuck outta here. The raytracing better be god-tier.
Also lol at that screenshot, are you serious Rockstar?
Not even releasing a trailer showing off these "many visual enhancements" gives all cause for concern.
I’d have to see this to believe it. If you mean RTGI through ReShade + ENB, 4K60 is doubtful on a 2080S. Unless the rest of the in-game settings were at Very Low/Low Quality. Shader, Shadows, AO, SS Reflections , Water, Post, etc.I was curious how performance would compare to PC. I was able to run 4k with close to 60FPS with a 2080 Super.
I wonder if RT will come to PC too.
Alan Wake Remastered was released October 5, 2021.Rockstar ain't gonna let them do that when they have a new SKU to sell lol.
I disagree completely. Driving and shooting mechanics are awful and archaic. The city is not very interesting to explore outside of story content and the story content is inconsistent. Really did not like the three PC juggling. It's a good game, but nothing I would ever want to go back to.

But it always makes me laugh when modders release these vastly improved reshaders and graphics mods. If they can do it, why can’t the original developers? It might take more time, but I’d rather buy a complete package than a half-assed job.Don't forget this is how the game looks upgraded for free(on PC)
The Online version will be free for 3 months.
For current owners yes.
No wordingm they saiy it's paid.
GTA Online wil be free during 3 months for PS5 (PS Plus required) users. They say it there and they said it when the next gen version was announced.Just checked, no wording, but it will be paid
I suppose Microsoft would wait. Just like they did with Alan Wake.So what if Rockstar says no because they want to sell the upgrade?
I suppose Microsoft would wait. Just like they did with Alan Wake.
And, of course, this assumes that FPS Boost would work on it in the first place.
Jason Ronald has said they've gotten it working on all the games they can and new techniques will have to be used in the future.
