I think it's less about WB being smart and more about, Emily Blunt is such a talented actress, what would it take to get her on board.

I'm really doubting this. I'm sure BoP will be something down the line, contingent on WW's performance. WB has so much on their slate right now, even without placing stuff like Batman, MoS2, Dark Universe, Blue & Gold, Sandman & now Birds of Prey.

If they really want another woman on the team, I'd rather see Barda with Scott for some new gods representation.

Sounds awesome but the source is Latino Review so I'm not going give my hopes up.

Latino Review broke several big pieces of news that I know of. The most recent one was the 2014 Godzilla reboot. They were the first to get it.

Would be cool. Black Canary is a good character. I just hope they don't put too many people in the cast and dilute any chance for character depth.
