I have the game actually(the first one, not this one), I just need to put the disk on the PS2 drive LOL, I boght it cuz I feel this series will be hard to find after a while, hell Nocturne was a bitch to find after 3 months of its release.

I will play DDS when I finish Nocturne which is the best JRPG I've played since FFX.

BTW without spoiling me the game, does Digital Devil Saga connects or has some easter eggs regarding Nocturne?

Seeing how I'm about 18 hours (just beat Lupa) in to the game, I flew by the screens just briefly looking at them. I didn't notice anything that would be considered a spoiler.

Maybe the title should have SPOILER WARNING inserted into it.

I've beaten the game and I'm annoyed that I just saw what I saw in this thread because it does spoil some of the mystery surrounding Digital Devil Saga's ending and Digital Devil Saga 2's beginning.

I forget who published the PAL release of Nocturne (Lucifer's Call), but if you check their website it's got a PAL release mentioned for DDS during the Christmas period. Hopefully they'll do the smart thing and bundle 1&2 together as the one package.

I'm importing though since I've already got and beaten DDS1. August 30 yeah? Can't wait!

I found it! It's Ghostlight's (formally Midas) website that makes mention DDS: http://www.ghostlight.uk.com/games.php?game=dds
I got the release date from another forums. IIRC, a Ghostlight representative had emailed a poster there saying a Christmas holiday release was their target for DDS.

Gawd, if I wasn't a junior memeber I'd post my open letter to Gamespot on this forum as well. I've fired off a PM to a GS editor on their forums, and an email to Atlus. Like it'll accomplish anything, but it's worth a shot.

Oh yeah, can't wait to get my hands on my pre-ordered copy! I'm gonna drop every game I' playing when I get my grubby hands on DDS2.
