Which player are you using? You don't have your settings right. You're using a Vive and Rift right? Download the Deo Player, it's free. The video settings need to be side by side 180 degrees. Just make sure you're watching newer videos, the early videos from pretty much all the sites had scale issues as they learned how to make proper rigs.

You're not limited for videos no, except by the quality your phone can handle. My S6 Edge has problems with overheating if I try to play the higher quality videos but I heard the newer phones can handle even the Oculus files.
VRP used to be really good but their scale has been way too big for a while now and they only do 1 position per scene, I'd highly recommend checking out Wankz.

Well if you're not even seeing 3D and the people are stretched then you have the wrong settings. I've never used that player so I don't know how it's set up, try the one I linked.
You either watched poorly made videos or your player settings were wrong.

What format are you playing the videos in? In general for Side by Side videos you use 180x180_3dh, and for over under videos you use 3dv.
Use the above site linked by Mrdeiz for samples of every new video that is released. Imo wankz has the best content and Czechvr has the best image quality.

I actually finally got it to work by using the SexLikeReal app that someone linked in the Vive thread. It definitely changed my mind on the quality of the experience. Everything streams so there's no concerns about downloads and the fidelity of the videos just worked. It feels regressive to have to manually download porn like it's the 90s. You're playing roulette with what you get being quality, much like Kazaa. The app fixes all of that in the same way streaming sites, Spotify, etc. fixed similar problems.
For the quality of the videos, it was enough to change my mind. There were still some scaling issues present. Things in the distance are too small/the 3D effect does not work as well. There were also issues were things in the periphery were too small. The technology still has a lot of growing to do. But what is on display is truly remarkable as far as the beginning of what's to come. It's almost eerie how the viewer gets a far more intimate encounter with the actor(s). It's one thing to see someone's body and the their parts on a 2D screen. You can judge scale by their surroundings but in the end, it's still a 2D representation of their person. In VR you get a sense of volume. This means you can more accurately judge the shape and size of their hips, thighs, arms, breasts, etc. It's far more realistic and that makes it super weird! I felt like a pervert or a cheater for seeing naked ladies in 3D. I do not get this while seeing 2D nudity. Because it felt more real (that there was a naked lady, not my wife, that is trying to score with me), I felt negative emotions. That's is a problem for me. I would not cheat on my wife, yet here I am with a woman, whose breasts I feel I can accurately gauge the volume of. I had those negative emotions going through my brain while "experiencing" the videos. If I am going to ever watch VR porn again, I will need to overcome that.
All-in-all, if I were a horny teenage boy again, this would be a gamechanger. As a married dude in his thirties, it's neat. I can't wait to see the application more widely used on short movies and animations.

VR porn is a lot more immersive but also a lot more work. You've got download huge files if you want reasonable fidelity, put on the headset, have a lot of situational awareness about being somewhere where no one is going to wander in because you WILL NOT hear them. But I suppose it's still a little less of a hassle than actually obtaining sex for most single people. I used a gift card to get a temporary subscription fro Naughty America and downloaded several of their videos. The quality was pretty good from a technical perspective although the sex itself can feel a bit static and dull. The easiest way to make VR porn is to have the guy just lie there immobile while one or more girls go to town. That's not my fantasy, I doubt its many people's. Some of the scenarios were a bit more interesting though. I only watched a couple of the videos I downloaded so far, it's just too elaborate an undertaking to be a regular thing.

That's the problem. It is a lot of work. The Naugty America stuff is good. VR porn is still at a point where you've got to pay if you want the good stuff.
If you get the highest possible bit rate, which means something like 16 gigs for a 40 minute movie, it's just high res enough, but it doesn't seem full HD.
