I noticed this after I heard Unwind for the first time. It's an indie rock discovery doders! Sounds like Modest Mouse ripped off an almost 10 year old Sonic Youth song. The proof is in the pudding. Here's the first 60 seconds of Unwind and Blame it on the Tetons. click

I like Unwind better... plus, Sonic Youth > Modest Mouse.

It's really just one part that both songs have in common. Plus, Modest Mouse uses that part as the basis for the whole vocal line, whereas SY does not.

Whoa. I hope Sonic Youth goes to Modest Mouse's house and is all "Hey, you stole my song! I wrote this years ago!" but Modest Mouse thinks they wrote the song, and have proof somehow! So Sonic Youth gets angry and kills Modest Mouse's dog! Then in the end Modest Mouse eats corn! With braces! It'd be just like Secret Window! Then more sparklers!
