That's not an advertBig Xbox gold advert in the middle
Thankfully, there’s a system for those who want ads popping up, and it’s the Xbox One.
They pop up now? This is amazing what tech does these daysThankfully, there’s a system for those who want ads popping up, and it’s the Xbox One.
I think advertising your own products and services is OK, but it it taking a ton of place... shouldn't the ads be on one of those smaller tiles at the very least out of your way.Big Xbox gold advert in the middle
360 during the kinect era was a very dark time....they bombard you with ads in your own console OS?
They do it. Also in PS4, as soon as you go to the store, it is all an add (New, featureed, recommended...), the only way to see the games that are out with no bias is going to the list of all games. Same for Xbox One...they bombard you with ads in your own console OS?
Whole MS during kinect/Win8 era was in very dark place.360 during the kinect era was a very dark time.
Oh puh-leaseThat's not an advert
First the ads, then the ability to redownload my digital purchases.
Because there has been precedent: The most prominent example is Nintendo closing the Wii Shop. I'm not saying it's gonna happen tomorrow, but very old digital catalogues are just going to be phased-out eventually.I know this is a petty attempt to make a joke, but why would they do that?
This is incredibly shitty and you are all idiots to tolerate it.They do it. Also in PS4, as soon as you go to the store, it is all an add (New, featureed, recommended...), the only way to see the games that are out with no bias is going to the list of all games. Same for Xbox One

We're not even talking BC here. We can always buy an used console 20-30 years down the like but we won't be able to play the Wiiware exclusives, having to resort to emulation or even piracy for preservation. With the lack of bc Nintendo has no reason to have it anymore. Xbox is forever bc as we know so it will be available for a long time. Anyone thinking otherwise has boomer mentality.

It is naive to think Xbox or any other company will have forever BC, I'll believe it when I don't need an Xbox 360 to play most of my library because they're not even BC on XBO.
Fair enough. Only time will tell. The reason why not every game works on Xbox One was because it was an afterthought. There's really no reason not to support it suddenly.
I bought my whole Xbox One library on digital, and I dont lay up at night with the fear of a game disappearing. Have been all digital on pc since steam in two decades, and have never lost a digital game.

So you're just trolling, got it thanksNo.
Self explanatory.
I saw this tagged retro and thought about it for a second. More time has passed between today and the 360 launch than between the SNES launch and 360 launch. Damn I feel old all of a sudden.

I can't see many xbox 360's or higher gen consoles surviving that long. We're not even talking BC here. We can always buy an used console 20-30 years down the like but we won't be able to play the Wiiware exclusives, having to resort to emulation or even piracy for preservation.

To be honest the risk of losing content has never been higher with all the cancelling going on right now.
