I think they did a bad job of really highlighting what they are trying to do.
Basically the assassin's creed celebration lasts from now till September and you can follow/participate here:

So it seems they are capping off the celebration with the actual show about the future of the franchise.
In the meanwhile they'll keep updating Valhalla with free content for another year.

Whilst I hate announcements of announcements, Assassin’s Creed is tops of gaming for me and, while I haven’t been too enthralled with the latest games (overall, especially Valhalla) I play the shit out of them and love them, so I’m in.
