Hello, I just got a ps4 and was curious about Witcher 3. Watching some reviews and reading impressions; there appears to be performance issues on PS4. Have those been fixed?
Tempted but with already just buying HoS off psn when released not sure. Think going wait and see how they going to release the new Skellige deck if they do it at all

it's nothing to worry about. the main issue is that you'll notice the framerate drop while in the city areas. there are very rare occasions where the framerate will drop when casting spells (lots of particle effects) or when certain enemies appear. for example, when wraiths spawn they tend to cause the game to freeze for a second sometimes.
let me just add that all these issues also appeared for me while playing on PC. so i guess it's just down to the game itself.
there is a known bug on PS4 (not sure about PC) where if you don't fill all 4 consumable slots then the game will start to stutter and experience heavy frame drops after a while. CDPR are aware if it and it will most likely be fixed in the pre expansion patch which is due out any time now. even then it's not a huge issue because you'll fill these slots up real quick.
seriously though if this has put it off...don't let it. the game runs fine on PS4. I've put well over 100 hours in so far and have really enjoyed it.
ah, alright. well you should go to http://redeemgwent.com/ and all you need to do is send an image showing that you own the hearts of stone expansion. a screenshot of the transaction in your PSN account will be fine. you can get the monsters/scoia'tael decks for £10. shipping to the UK cost about £6. the only thing is that you will need to pay VAT when it arrives but it won't be much.

cards missing from player's base-game collection and information on where to find
them, thus facilitating completion of achievement titled Collect 'Em All. Tome in
question can be obtained either from gwent playing scholar in Prologue or from
merchant near St. Gregory's Bridge in Gildorf district of Novigrad.
 Adds option to display herb names above available interactions.
 Adds option in Options/Gameplay to enable enemy level upscaling. If foes are too
easy to defeat due to level difference, upscaling will render them a challenge. Change
will not affect experience point gain, loot, or quest rewards. Option can be enabled
or disabled at any time, even during combat (however, Vitality/Essence of foes is
then fully restored).
 Adds option in Options/Gameplay to disable automatic drawing and sheathing of
sword.
 Increases incidence of, and thus chances of finding, several monster-based
ingredients required for crafting high level alchemy formulae.
 Improves Player Statistics panel, adding maneuverable Geralt model. Improves

 Adds new functionality to books and scrolls. When first collected, they can be read

Honestly, and maybe I just don't have an eye for this stuff, there was never a point during my 80+ hours (and counting) on PS4 where I said, "Hey, this game isn't performing well." Nothing ever stood out or was noticeable. The game performs fine.

I see they added the option to repair equipped gear in the patch, but this mod has item stack splitting? Oh hell yes. Will have to check out the updated version after the patch drops. Thanks.

-the only conflicts to romance in the game is
. Every other sexual encounter is fair game though it's pretty scummy lmao. Not to say Im not an asshole, I slept with the HoS romantic interest because why not if no consequences but I felt bad about it.
-as to the enchantment to make your armor into light armor, imho it isn't worth it for anything you lose your runes so meh

confirming you want to be with them verbally instead of denying one to be with the other between Yenn and Triss

I'm thinking about getting this game but I don't have as much time to play as I would like. I looked at howlongtobeat and I figure I could allot 45 hours for the main quest but I was wondering what the "can't miss" side quests are in the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All side quests which branch from the main storyline, that's for start.
Essentially, any side quest where the initial quest description has a character's name on it. Which is a shit ton of them.
Witcher 3 does the Rockstar thing where although you've gotten what you want from a character and can proceed with your story, their questline is still half-finished and completing it is optional
NICE! I'll definitely use level scaling and draw my swords manually from now on.
When will the patch hit?
You are up to date. You wouldn't get more patches just for having the expansion packs.
1.20 is what blood and wine will be using and even if you only own the base game you will still get the patch with all those changes.

Personally I'm not a big signs user atm so I went for the enchantment. Crafted 6 greater runes for the other armor pieces so we'll see how it goes. 100% poison resistance from the Viper set is very nice, The resistance stats are crazy really; compared them to my other mastercrafted Witcher gear and all around it's a nice increase.

master witcher armor is the best there is, outside of maybe the viper set which is technically equippable at level 39.

what I'm telling you is that the DLC didn't have any light armor that I saw, and even if there was it wouldn't be better than your mastercrafted cat armor.
edit: I stand corrected below, maybe that's better than cat armor I wouldn't know I'm a heavy/medium guy.

I wish there were more Ofieri items, like the ornate sheath seen beside the merchant at Upper Mill.
Also worth noting with one of the enchantments mentioned in the discussion above any armor can be treated as light armor, which is what I've done to enable the light armor perk. Consumes three rune slots, so whether it's worth it is up to you.

It was better than my mastercrafted Griffin set, so I'd imagine it's better than the Cat set. The mastercrafted sets are sadly going to be completely obsolete in the next expansion. I was even finding better common gear at the end of HoS.

A way to craft custom gear or weapons would be fantastic. Wondering if that grandmaster blacksmith hinted at in the patch notes adds something like that. I want more slim hilted swords with nice pommels!
