This is like having a game set in Ghana or Nigeria, but then you pick a white guy to be the main character of the game just because he was associated with a popular black figure in that nation.
So many other Samurais they could've picked.
I would've preferred playing as Miyamoto Musashi. He accepted a challenge by a Samurai at the age of 12 and beat him to death. He was undefeated in about 60 duels and the most popular duel he had; he beat the guy with a wooden sword. He didn't even die in a duel. He died in a cave due to age.
Also, he helped build Akashi Castle, which is now known as Hyogo Prefecture.
