Unity closes offices due to ‘credible death threat’

Wait what? So Unity really did literally threaten themselves? It was an employee? Oh come on.

I don't know who is making those potential death threats, but it's funny seeing the shoe on the other foot after years of game developers constantly claiming death threats and harassment (often without evidence).

It's devs infighting though, so still devs. Unity is part of the whole dev environment, with probably a fair share of bugs caused by their code, just not developing their own games like Epic.

It makes more sense than gamers being upset about any prices or bad story ends or janky whatever and some other BS. Devs seeing their sports car dreams disappear is at least a more real problem, even if it is probably blown out of proportion, but it is either way embarassing to got to that action. If it makes no sense anymore, speak with your wallet, stop using Unity and maybe jump ship; everything IT related is anyway sought after and gaming never payd the best.
