Nice OP, damn so much info.

Anyway, is there anyone who knows what the 'expected' high-hitters are gonna be? dont feel like watching all the pilots.

Better Call Saul is the only show among this list that I expect to be a significant hit--I could see Battle Creek and The Odd Couple being successes maybe. Most of the time, the most promising shows on network TV are launched in the Fall, so spring launches are sort of also-rans.

There are a handful of series I expect to be creatively interesting:
Babylon (this has already aired in the UK and the pilot was aired about a year ago)
Togetherness (HBO)
Fortitude
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
The Last Man on Earth
Maybe The Messengers

Ultimately though if your time is limited, I'd wait and see how stuff plays out and catch up after the fact.

I think Bosch might be big and people will be surprised by it, because the hype is flowing through different than usual channels. But it seems like a perfect storm of a good show based on very popular IP being distributed through the same place where the source material gets majority of it's sales.
At the very least will likely be the first hit Amazon gets.

American Idol
The Middle
The Goldbergs
The 100
Sleepy Hollow
Bob's Burger

i thought Bad Judge was cancelled? are they going to complete the season?

EDIT: Forgot about How to get away with Murder. how can i forget that.

TheOddOne dun got himself banned for a fortnight and he won't be doing the Helix OT. Someone else "needs" to do it.

In the interest of keeping things a little better organized around here, there's an informal list of upcoming shows and who's doing them in the fifth post of this thread. Hopefully this will help ensure that we have good coverage going forward, and also that there's no overlap with multiple people independently working on the same thread. Collaboration is encouraged. If you are planning on putting together a TV OT, please post in the thread when you have a moment to let us know. With returning shows, the previous thread creator is assumed to be working on the new season unless otherwise noted. Thanks.

You forgot Power Rangers Dino Charge on Nickelodean. Premiere date hasn't been announced yet but it's usually sometime in February.

Just Saul for me and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe iZombie since the premise sounds cool.Strange since it's been years since I've watched network TV and even way longer for a show from the CW... Maybe the 90s?

I have given up on Walking Dead.

Trying out Agent Carter and Galavant, gonna try to check out the Netflix shows (Kimmy Schmidt and Daredevil especially.)

Will definitely watch House of Cards Season 3 as well.

I just watched both seasons of Vikings this week and it was fantastic. I had watched the pilot back when it aired, but never kept up. So glad I decided to give it another shot. Lagertha is the best. Anywho, I'll be watching that now too when the new season starts!

Thanks for this thread, it's very helpful.

Shows I'll be watching:
Justified - curtain call for my favorite show on TV
Daredevil - most hyped I've ever been for a show
Game of Thrones - is this the most viewed HBO show ever?
Broadchurch - interested to see how they follow up last season
Outlander - wife's favorite book series, and an admittedly damn good show so far
House of Cards - I'll be binge watching all three seasons this year
Gotham - I'm five episodes behind, but liking this
Cristela - good background noise

Shows I'll check out:
Bloodline - Clear eyes, full heart, can't lose
Battle Creek - Vince Gilligan? Vince Gilligan!
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - looks charming
The Last Man on Earth - I’m 12 and what is this?
12 Monkeys - one of my favorite movies ever...but this looks like crap
Backstrom - Dwight Schrute as an off-kilter cop? Two episodes, max!

So looking over that list, it's clear that I favor shorter (~12-13 episode) season shows, and am a bit of a Netflix fanboy.
