There was a glitch back in 2012 on xbox.com that allowed you to buy a month of gold for only $1 for a long time if you went to a specific link. I used that for a long time and basically had a year for $12.

Not available yet but if I'm pretty sure you'll be able to upgrade for a cheaper price if you have the base game so it shouldn't matter which version you get.

You'll be able to upgrade Ori to the definitive edition when that releases at a reduced price. Regardless though, you should get Ori. It's a great game. Totally worth it.

I have the base Deluxe Edition from last year. If I can get all the DLC for cheaper than what the GOTY Edition will be going for on Black Friday, I'll be very happy.

I'm hoping for Shovel Knight to go on sale (since I waited for physical and now that isn't happening on Xbox One), and for the complete Life is Strange to go on sale again (since physical now looks to be quite a bit more costly than digital).

I hope some more understated digital game releases like Beyond Eyes go on sale too.
