League of Legends World Championships 2015 |OCT 1-OCT 31|

Ryze is a boring champion to watch because no one knows how to play against post rework Ryze (or that's how it feels to me). People may vaguely remember what they did when Ryze was last in the meta, but Kuro jumping into the face of Faker and just getting rooted and blown up highlights this. Maybe he'll be more interesting if people start to counterplay him better and it isn't just games where it feels like Ryze runs in and smashes his face on the keyboard until someone is deleted.

Well with g. wounds passive being brought back to a few items in Season 6, Ryze should not be much trouble.

dear riot:

stop making the cup so heavy that pros can't even lift it

three years in a row it's super awkward

You just need to collapse on Ryze. Unfortunately, Faker's divine skills makes him dodge all skill shots.

true. Still havent played Ryze in SR myself. Need to give it a go sometime. I've owned ryze for a long time too

Thing about Ryze is that you need a team to be able to hold the lanes till his super power spike.

That's why I dislike Faker playing Ryze because I know he's going to play safe as well as the rest of the ream making the early game a bore to watch.

Man everything looks so cheap. The hat, the trophy the medal. What an ugly ass "summoner" logo. To top it off the three riot guys go through fist bumping them all.

Makes it all seem less of a real sport

well deserved by marin. My favorite player especially because I'm a top laner myself. I try to copy how he plays and it's been amazing how it improved because of that.

Can we persuade Koreans to switch to Dota 2?

The prize pool is much higher, come on guys.
go away pls

The prize pool is not the point.

Just that Koreans dominate so crazy hard every year, everybody else has no chance.
Ah, so that's what you were trying to say. Eh, other teams need to step the fuck up, not Korea's fault they take the game more seiously.

really curious how tsm is going to fill out their roster. guess we'll know by iem san jose
There's some weird rumours floating around reddit about someone named Adrian. Might be TIP Adrian, might be Piccaboo, might be someone else entirely and reddit is just going crazy

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Korea got some representation at TI5 so maybe we'll be able to siphon off some of your talent.

It's more likely brand new talent will show up for Doto, Korea's eSport infrastructure is top tier shit, they can just grow talent if Koreans start taking Dota seriously.

How would people change the format for next year, if at all?

I think the format was great this year but potentially worth going for random knock-out stages than seeding. Also great to open up slots to more international/RoTW teams too.

BO2s in groups

BO1s have no place in competitive gaming period.

It's a good thing no one in Korea likes Dota.

I imagine it's because Dota is China's game and they hate each other.

For sure, nobody that's established in League would venture into a new game. The money is way too good for one thing.

What are the overall thoughts on the event itself? Found it strange but interesting that they changed venues all the time. Did it up last year's Worlds?
